Benefits of Using Kwikstage Scaffolding

A popular type of scaffolding, kwikstage scaffolding has a range of benefits that make it an excellent choice for construction projects. It is designed for easy assembly and uses a fasten-free system where the scaffolding is erected in individual grids. One single press attaches four horizontal brackets, making assembly fast and easy. The system requires fewer workers than traditional scaffolding, which can save on labour costs as well as liability.

Unlike conventional scaffolding, kwikstage scaffolding is easy to assemble and dismantle. It can support many workers at once, making it a valuable investment. The parts of the scaffolding are made of steel pressings to provide maximum safety. You can hire the scaffold for as long as you need it, or purchase it in bulk. There are a wide range of sizes available to meet the specific requirements of your construction project.

Among the many different types of scaffolding, kwikstage is the most widely used. It uses wedges and V-pressing to eliminate the need for transverse bracing. The self-locating joints also help achieve high safety levels while working with unskilled labour. A typical set of kwikstage scaffolding comprises four x 4-way connections. There are two types of kwikstage ledgers: the fixed and open-ended ones.

The first type of scaffold runs are constructed by securing 4 standards to adjustable bases. The standards should be installed on the inside, with the lower ones facing the walls. Next, you should place a transom between two standards on the lowest level. You should not tighten the transom yet. Once you've set up all four stages, you can then install a ledger on the adjacent ledgers as a guardrail.
